Lifelong learning-thing #2

I find the most difficult of the 7 1/2 values is having confidence in myself as a competent, effective learner. I am becoming more comfortable with this as I constantly am engaging myself in taking classes and trying to remain up-to-date on technology. I am slowly learning that I can do the more difficult tasks and do them well.

The easiest thing is setting a goal. I tend to set short-term goals that will eventually lead to the larger goal in the end. I focus on the short term and then I don't seem overwhelmed.

  1. Ten confianza! Have confidence, as my one spanish language school instructors would say! I struggle with that, knowing I must be as a child to truly learn.

  2. I can relate... having confidence is my hardest lifelong learning habit as well.

  3. I can agree that setting goals is easy. The only problem is when you start changing your goals based on changing circumstances... then it gets a bit hectic. It is also interesteing that in some cases, short term goals seem easily achievable, but then somehow you discover along the way that you completely want to change your big-picture goal based on how your small goals are achieved.

  4. How funny! Your most difficult was my easiest, and your easiest was my most difficult. Could it be you are my polar opposite. Doubtful. I also love pink.
